KENSINGTON Art and Kastenmeiers invite again to a vernissage

Gerd Kastenmeier’s “art” and that of his team is creative gourmet cuisine and the preparation of fine fish dishes, as well as perfect service for his guests.
And just as Gerd Kastenmeier is a professional artist in the field of upscale cuisine and perfect service, Tina Lüngen, with almost 27 artists and over 175 works of art, is now a professional in the implementation and planning of vernissages and the organisation of the matching locations.

In the meantime, the two creative minds have become very familiar with each other and are looking forward to the upcoming exhibition, which will take place from 15.09. – 03.11.2021 in Kastenmeiers restaurant in the beautiful Taschenbergpalais in Dresden.

Whether it’s sushi, oysters, a glass of champagne or a refreshing cocktail, from September onwards the eyes will be treated to an additional taste composition with the works of Patrizia Casagranda and Sebastian Merk.

With Patrizia Casagranda, guests and visitors can look forward to art that has already been exhibited in Beijing, China and in the Francesco Gonzaga Museum, Mantova.

The German / Italian artist creates expressive symbioses with elements of collage, painting, stencil technique, street art and typography. Her motifs are usually arranged as thematically homogeneous series of pictures in which she follows a specific subject or a particular aspect of materiality.
Casagranda presents her works in top galleries in Germany as well as at the largest international art fairs in Miami, New York & Zurich, to name just a small excerpt of her activities around the globe.

Sebastian Merk is young, but by no means inexperienced. Whether nationally in cities such as Munich, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden or Hamburg, Sebastian is also on the move internationally with his art and so Merk’s paintings are in private collections e.g. in Hong Kong, the USA, France and Dubai.

Sebastian Merk’s abstract works capture the interplay between different aspects of visual and cognitive processes of human experience. Varied in his choice of colours, his paintings inevitably draw the viewer’s eye into the high-contrast compositions of gestural brushstrokes, sweeping colour gradients and dynamic traces of his intuition-led work. Impulsively, he applies his techniques mostly to large-format canvases.

“Gerd and his team are complete professionals, the Restaurant Kastenmeier in the Taschenbergpalais is a unique, beautiful location and it will certainly not be the last vernissage we will hold together,” says Tina Lüngen.
