KENSINGTON Art presents new art on the island of Usedom
Art exhibition at the Steigenberger Grand Hotel Usedom
KENSINGTON Art, in cooperation with the Steigenberger Hotel Usedom, will bring the extraordinary works of two German artists to Usedom.
Susanne Kirsch is an artist whose multi-layered compositions skilfully create the illusion of spatial depth through the interplay of the colours she uses.
The now freelance artist discovered her passion for abstract painting at the turn of the millennium. Her studio in Rodenbach near Hanau offers her the space to live out her creativity. She goes through the world with open eyes and lets colours and impressions, also from nature, flow into her art.
In an autodidactic framework, she first begins to develop the basis of her informal style. Her development as an artist leads her to new projects and challenges.
Susanne can already look back on exhibitions in Frankfurt, Hanau, Hamburg and Berlin, as well as art fairs in Italy and France.
Sebastian Merk is young, but by no means inexperienced. Whether nationally in cities such as Munich, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden or Hamburg, Merk is on the road with his art. His paintings can be found in private collections in e.g. Hong Kong, the USA, France or Dubai.
Sebastian Merk’s abstract works capture the interplay between different aspects of visual and cognitive processes of human experience. Varied in their choice of colour, his paintings inevitably draw the viewer’s eye into the high-contrast compositions of gestural brushstrokes, sweeping colour gradients and dynamic traces of his intuition-led work. Impulsively, he applies his techniques mostly to large-format canvases.
After Frankfurt and Davos, now Usedom
As part of the exclusive cooperation, Carsten Willenbockel, General Manager of the Steigenberger Grand Hotel Usedom, and Tina Lüngen, Managing Director KENSINGTON Art, are looking forward to another 3-month collaboration between the Steigenberger Hotel Group and the art division of the KENSINGTON Group.
“Further dates will be announced soon and exciting exhibitions in the renowned hotels of the Steigenberger Hotel Group are being planned nationally and across Europe. Let us surprise you,” says Tina Lüngen.
