KENSINGTON starts Art division
As of today, the real estate company KENSINGTON Finest Properties International has also entered among exclusive art suppliers with its KENSINGTON Art division. This makes KENSINGTON the first real estate company based in the German-speaking world to have its own art division. “There have been some very exciting months in the preparation phase and I am very happy that we are now officially getting started. Art and real estate are a perfect match and we have already initiated our first cooperation within the KENSINGTON network”, says Tina Lüngen, co-founder and managing director of KENSINGTON Art GmbH, based in the art metropolis of Düsseldorf.
KENSINGTON Art aims to provide artists, art lovers, collectors and investors with a new platform and opportunities that have been little used to date. “We want to market international artists exclusively and are not an online platform in the classical sense. This extraordinary platform, combined with high-quality events at KENSINGTON locations, some of them in exclusive properties, is intended to bring the target groups together in the right places”, Tina Lüngen describes the business model of KENSINGTON Art.
“Especially in times like these, art represents an optimal asset class of stable value for investors. This is one of the areas in which we will be focusing our efforts in close cooperation with KENSINGTON Family Office,” emphasises the art connoisseur.
Artists from contemporary and abstract painting, to 3D sculpture art are included in the portfolio, as are top photographers. Collaborations with galleries and art dealers are already planned and partly already in the preparation phase, as are joint exhibitions with luxury hotels. “Certainly the current situation is a little bit inhibiting as far as events and exhibitions are concerned, but we will be all the more prepared once this extraordinary situation we find ourselves in is over”, says Tina Lüngen.
Tina Lüngen has more than 10 years of experience as sales director, through which she has been able to build up an extensive network of international contacts. Art has been her passion for many years, and she benefits from a comprehensive insight into the worldwide art scene as a result.
The core business of the KENSINGTON group has been the marketing of high-quality real estate for over 20 years, and this is growing strongly internationally through franchise branches. Meanwhile, the company also has other divisions, such as a family office, a mergers & acquisitions company, a digital real estate investment platform, a travel portal and a lifestyle magazine.
